Argentine Driver Colapinto to Race at Brazilian Grand Prix

Argentine driver Franco Colapinto (Alpine) will compete this weekend in the Brazilian Grand Prix, which is the twentieth round of the 2025 Formula 1 championship, with British driver Lando Norris (McLaren) leading the standings.

This Grand Prix is set to be packed with intense action, as there will be a sprint race that could be crucial in the title fight. Australian Oscar Piastri (McLaren) and Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) are looking to dethrone Norris, who comes off a dominant victory in Mexico.

The action at the Brazilian GP will begin on Friday with the only free practice session, scheduled from 11:30 to 12:30, followed by the sprint race qualifying at 15:30.

The sprint race will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM, where drivers will battle over 100 kilometers (a third of a regular race distance) to earn the eight points awarded to the winner.

The main race qualifying will follow just a few hours later, starting at 15:00.

Finally, the main race for the Brazilian GP is scheduled for this Sunday, starting at 14:00.

The Brazilian Grand Prix is held at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, also known as Interlagos.
