Argentine driver Franco Colapinto (Alpine) will compete this weekend in the Brazilian Grand Prix, which is the twentieth round of the 2025 Formula 1 championship, with British driver Lando Norris (McLaren) leading the standings.
This Grand Prix is set to be packed with intense action, as there will be a sprint race that could be crucial in the title fight. Australian Oscar Piastri (McLaren) and Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) are looking to dethrone Norris, who comes off a dominant victory in Mexico.
The action at the Brazilian GP will begin on Friday with the only free practice session, scheduled from 11:30 to 12:30, followed by the sprint race qualifying at 15:30.
The sprint race will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM, where drivers will battle over 100 kilometers (a third of a regular race distance) to earn the eight points awarded to the winner.
The main race qualifying will follow just a few hours later, starting at 15:00.
Finally, the main race for the Brazilian GP is scheduled for this Sunday, starting at 14:00.
The Brazilian Grand Prix is held at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, also known as Interlagos.
